Since 2013, the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) has grown into a thriving research community, with a focus on decarbonisation and the science of learning. Cambridge CARES was Cambridge University’s first research centre outside the UK, and its success is founded on its strong international research partnerships, collaborations with industry and commitment to innovation and enterprise. Having a bit of Cambridge in Singapore has shown the importance of bringing different national and regional perspectives to bear on global challenges.
The event was marked with celebrations, panels, discussions and presentations. We’re excited to see how the research at CARES grows and develops in the future.
